Your mission will be

As part of the control quality team, you will be responsible for detecting anomalies and abnormal behaviours (bugs) regarding game functions, graphics, logic, design and content. Your work will ensure the best experience for players.

Your profile

3-5 years of experience in the field of the gaming industry
Already had an experience in Team Lead role or willing to be a team lead
Previous managerial experience as a team leader (will be a plus)
Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
B2 and higher level of English (daily communication with team members from other studios)
Knowledge of test case management tools (e.g. Testrail, TM4J, etc).
In-depth understanding of formal test and development processes.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong project and time management skills with a proven ability to focus on priorities, solve problems, juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Enthusiastic, positive, team-oriented, and organized.
Ability to work under tight schedules and high-stress environments.
Understanding of agile-based SDLCs (Scrum/Kanban).
Experience with API Contract verification using tools such as Swagger or REST Docs.
Experience with RESTful API web service execution and validation using tools such as Postman or SOAP.
Experience in working with databases (NoSQL is an advantage).
Strong leadership skills.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to establish QA processes from scratch with further monitoring and control, including creation and maintenance of supportive artefacts, procedures, and metrics.

Responsibilities

Define and monitor testing procedures and practices: test management, defect management and tracking management.
Track and provide QA statuses to stakeholders.
Review and present different types of QA deliverables including reports.
Provide insights about production quality and prepare improvement plans to improve quality for low-quality areas.
Participate in the interviews of new team members, guide the onboarding process.
Participate in the performance review process.
Conduct 1-1 meetings with subordinate team members.
Ensure QA personnel are prioritizing and tracking defects and issues correctly and recommend corrective action where required.
Implement testing policies, procedures and standards across the company’s products.
Adapt the testing strategy to the project’s expansion.
Planning and estimating the testing activities.
Tasks prioritisation.
Coordinate with various teams for specific tests.
Supervise and coordinate over the whole test process cycle.
Prepare Test Summary Reports and Release Notes.
Manage a team of up to 4 QA engineers and evaluate their performance, develop and coach a team.
